China To Limit MMO Playing Time Of Citizens To 3 Hours – Penalties After That

China, the pioneer of thought control, is set to enact a three-hour limit on the amount of playtime Chinese MMO patrons can use in one sitting. The government agency that oversees the online game industry said that it is testing a system to regulate the number of hours gamers spend online, and will be ready for deployment this October. Blizzard cannot be happy about this.

The games limited will include: The Legend of Mir II, The World of Legend, Westward Journey Online, Fantasy Westward Journey Online, World of Warcraft, MU, JX Online, First Myth Online, The Legend of Mir 3G, Lineage II, and Blade Online. If you defy this law, play more than three hours, the system cuts a game character’s ability by half; play more than five hours and the system cuts the ability level to the lowest level possible. Color me amazed.

Advent Rising – Xbox

This is the first game review of dankster.org, and we can safely say it is one of the dankest games of the year so far. In Advent Rising for the XBOX, you play as a space pilot who while being related to the general of the allied army and is engaged to a fine ass woman winds up doing a lot more killing than flying. He gets involved in a compelling plot where aliens make contact with humans for the first time, only to warn them that another, evil breed of aliens are on their way to wipe out the entire human race.

Pros
- Compelling storyline moved along by beautifully impressive, though somewhat cartoonish at times, cinematic cut scenes.
- Innovation – Advent Rising plays like a combination of a first-person shooter and a third-person RPG, and has elements of a platformer as well. You’ll only really understand what we mean by playing it yourselves, but we can say that it won’t be like anything you’ve played before. There is also a unique targeting system that is really cool when you get the hang of it.
- Cool features – there are a lot of surprises in this game. Just when you think you’ve figured out what’s going on, something new and unexpected will happen. You can also gain mastery in everything you do, including individual weapons, melee, jumping, etc.
- Hot wife – your bitch is bangin’
Cons
- Control – The designers of Advent Rising played around with a bunch of new concepts in control and gameplay, and it shows. Although interesting and cool in a lot of ways, controlling your guy as well as the various vehicles can be difficult and frustrating at times. It also sometimes seems as if the designers have throw in unnecessary obstacles that force you to do things with the controls that are far from easy to handle. This includes the aiming system, which is cool but again just isn’t really fully developed and is a little impractical
- Guidance – the game mysteriously lacks any sort of map or waypoint system, which hurts the game play at times.

Flaws notwithstanding, Advent Rising is extremely fun and great to look at, especially under certain circumstances…. This game has what it takes to be the first game from a great new development studio. We are truly impressed and we predict that the next game to come out running on this engine will be extremely dank.
